Livestock Futures Close Mixed
Live cattle futures closed Tuesday 7 to 32 lower; feeder cattle futures were
60 to 100 lower; lean hog futures were mixed, up 75 to down 45.

GENERAL COMMENTS:
According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base closed $0.09 lower
compared with the Prior Day settlement ($90.00-$101.00, weighted average
$99.81). Corn futures closed higher on acreage uncertainties. July was 4 3/4
higher; September 10 1/4 higher; December and March 12 higher.
